Historical Destination Rome
“Oh, man, this is the eternal city,” the famous writer Goethe had supposedly remarked after spending just four weeks in Rome. Putting lightly, it was said to be the best time in Goethe’s life here on earth. And to you who had been to Rome, or yet to go there, will immediately know why.

Needless to say, the mention of Rome would make us recall the once glorious Roman Empire, the Triumvirate, the Roman Catholic Church and the Vatican, Michelangelo and Da Vinci, and, well, the magnificent and the stupendous man-made structures that can only be found in this singular place in the universe.
With those things said, it’s not too strange then why every year millions of tourists from around the world will flock to this city, and share with the similar experience of the eternal that had inspired Hans Christian Andersen to write his classical works after looking at Michelangelo’s David, or made the great poet Goethe exclaimed: “this is the eternal city!”
